The North Louisiana Economic Partnership (NLEP) is a non-profit economic development marketing organization promoting fourteen parishes of North Louisiana as a desirable and profitable business location. The NLEP and its many partners work with both existing companies and prospective employers to encourage incremental capital investment and job creation as a way to build a strong and thriving economy.
The NLEP is the result of a merger of two organizations, the North Louisiana Economic Development Corporation and the Northwest Louisiana Economic Development Foundation. The goal is greater economic opportunities for the residents of northern Louisiana.

Alliance Partners
The Alliance partners group is a confederation of the staff professionals and/or key volunteers of numerous local, parish, and regional organizations involved in many aspects of economic development across the fourteen parishes of North Louisiana. Members include representatives from numerous local municipalities, parishes, regional subareas, industry/sector focused organizations, educational providers and regional utility providers. Alliance Partners is a working committee of the NLEP and, among other activities, works together to jointly market the area in an efficient and effective manner..
